After my initial choke, I did manage to get one of those short story ideas moving forward…and unexpectedly it turned out to be a “spin-off” of Subnetworks. It’s up to nine pages now and I’m hoping to finish it in the 25-30 range (the shorter the better). I haven’t finished a new story in a long time, so cross your fingers for me! (I feel a little like I’m daring myself to finish by even posting about it…)
