There are many ways in which 2009 left a lot to be desired, in the wider world, obviously, and for me in particular. But as it comes to a close I don’t really feel all that much like dwelling on them.
All in all, I was very fortunate this year. I held a job I actually enjoy in an economy where people are lucky to have any job. I love living in Los Angeles and I love my home, and my family and my friends and my ridiculous cats. And I’m so very, very lucky to be sharing it all with Jenn, who makes every day better. (Thanks for turning my name-tag around, sweetie.)
