Lightspeed just launched its 111th issue for August, and I’m pleased to be included once again, this time with a film review. In this one, I get my existentialism on with an intriguing Swedish science fiction film called Aniara, which has the odd distinction of being based on a 1950s poem, while also managing to be quite contemporary and topical.
If that doesn’t pique your interest — honestly, how could it not, right? — there’s another amazing lineup of genre fiction in the issue from the likes of Carlos Hernandez, Cassandra Khaw, Sam J. Miller, and Dominica Phetteplace, among others. As usual, you can buy the whole issue now, or wait a few weeks for my review to go live.
