A thought-provoking new Swedish science fiction film saw limited release in the U.S. earlier this year. It’s called Aniara, and my review of it just went live at Lightspeed. Re-reading it this morning, I’m reminded how topical and interesting the film turned out to be, despite being based on SF poetry from the 1950s! I hope you enjoy the review, and encourage you to support the film as well. It won’t cheer you up, but it should make you think.
