Neither of the shows I reviewed in this month’s Lightspeed are likely to lift your spirits much (OH, THE DARKNESS), but fans of hard-hitting, beautifully produced near-future SF will find plenty to like in FX’s Devs and HBO’s Years and Years, both of which had me fondly recalling my editing days at Futurismic. Alas, this will be my last review for Lightspeed, which is shutting down its media column at the end of the year. I sure enjoyed the run, though!
